Sean Daly
Physical Therapist, Owner
Credentials: Seans natural athletic ability and fascination with human biomechanics and performance was a strong driving force behind becoming a Physical Therapist. College education at University of Queensland studying under the internationally renowned Professor Gwen Jull and Dr. Carolyn Richardson, graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1989. After several years in Australia, he was recruited to Southwest Florida in 1993 and then relocated with his family to Aiken SC in 1999.
A strong believer in educating his clients about their conditions, Sean seeks quick results and return to full function while still ensuring long-term benefits and good health for his patients.;
Education: University of Queensland, Brisbane , Australia.
The Joy in Work: There is a real sense of achievement in restoring and rejuvenating those who come to me intially suffering from pain and disability.
Hobbies: Born and raised in Australia's Sunshine State, Queensland. An avid youth athlete playing the traditional sports of cricket, rugby and tennis.
As an adult continued with competitive sport in cricket, rugby and volleyball before turning to distance running and triathlon for over 10 years including several marathons and the half-ironman triathlon. With the glory days gone and youth passed by, Sean now persists with a single digit handicap in golf and continues with recreational fitness.
This outdoors life has taken him on the professional journey to his special clinical focus and expertise in Elite Athletic Injury Rehabilitation and Post-Surgical Orthopedics.

Darcy Armstrong
Senior Physical Therapist
Credentials: Darcy is the 2001 recepient of the South Carolina Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association's Butch Buchanan Award for Clinical Excellence. She is also the 2008 recepient of the the Medical College of Georgia's School of Allied Health Science's Fabulous 40 alumni. She was chosen out of 7000 Graduates for this recognition for her professional accomplishments. She is a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist who applies her ergonomics education in the clinic. From inital evaluation through discharge, she is searching for a solution to the cause of the musculoskeletal condition, prevention of recurrence as well the proper plan of treament/care to help her patients reach maximal recovery. Darcy's clinical interests lie in the treatment of orthopedic rehabilitation and disorder of the spine, specifically Lumbar and Sacroiliac Dysfunction where she focuses continuing clinical education;
Education: Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, Georgia
South Aiken Physical Therapy allows me to practice Physical Therapy in a setting commited to customer service, state of the art technology and treatment techniques. This setting offers my patients the optimal environment for repairing, rejuvenating and healing. It provides me with the perfect environment to best serve my patients in reaching their goals for recovery.
Hobbies: Darcy's participation in highschool and intercollegiate basketball and softball along with exposure to athletic injuries and injuries of her own, led her to the profession of physical therapy. Naturally,an interest in sports and orthopedic injury rehabilitation followed. During recent years she has chosen to participate in the less physically demanding hobbies of golf, watersports, boating and amateur photography.

Jimmy Batte
Physical Therapist Assistant
Credentials: Aiken Technical College's Recipient of the 2006 Award for Clinical Excellence.;
Education: Greenville Technical College, Aiken Campus.
South Aiken Physical Therapy has a pleasant atmosphere among the staff and patients while still maintaining great professionalism.
Hobbies: Anything having to do with professional football and the Greenbay Packers.

Laura Witham, Physical Therapist. Laura, a graduate of Georgia State University brings 4 years of general orthopedic experience to the South Aiken Physical Therapy Team. She has a real passion for helping her patients to get back to the highest level of function with the least amount of pain.

Baker Leigh, Physical Therapist. Baker is well known and respected in Aiken as he has practiced Physical Therapy in various settings over the past 7 years. Baker is a 1995 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina and has a focus area of general orthopedics with special training in kinesotaping techniques.

Amy Scruggs, Receptionist. Amy brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for work to South Aiken Physical Therapy. She has taken the front office task to heart and is a great asset to the care team at South Aiken Physical Therapy.

Belinda Pallon, Rehabilitation Aide/Receptionist. Belinda loves her job as an experienced aide but also loves the challenge of working in the role of receptionist. She greatly enhances the physical therapy experience of our clients.

Jill Johnson, Contract Bookkeeper. Jill is an avid outdoors person who has the great talent of not only bookkeeping but also working the front desk on demand. Her smiling face and helpful attitude make her another great member of the team.

Susan Sturgill, Receptionist. Susan is the smiling face who always meets you at the front window or greets you on the phone. Another perfect addition to our team of experts in our front office.

Dustin Stone, Rehabilitation Aide. Dusty is the Mr. Fix-it of South Aiken Physical Therapy- if it breaks, he can fix it. He's also a future Physical Therapist Assistant awaiting his acceptance into school.

Shareffa Miles, Rehab Aide. Shareffa is a talented young lady who has joined us after a very successful internship. She is also on her way to becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Terisa Fugate, Rehab Aide. Terisa works with us on an as needed basis aiding in the care of our patients. She is a friendly, smiling new addition to our team. She also aspires to become a Physical Therapist Assistant and is awaiting acceptance into school.
