Special Credentials/Clinical Specialty: Danielle’s passion for Physical Therapy began working with wounded warriors as a medical clerk at the United States Army Institute for Surgical Research Burn Center. She was inspired by the physical therapists helping Soldiers recover from traumatic injuries. Danielle attended the University of Kansas (KU) for her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. While at KU she raced colligate level cycling in her free time. Danielle’s clinical experience includes, orthopedics, acute sports injury, pediatrics, work related injuries, stroke rehab, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputee care, cerebral palsy, and post-op cardiovascular surgery. She is interested in manual therapy and orthopedic care. Having sustained many sport related injuries she is also interested in return to sport for endurance athletes, dancers, and musicians.

Hobbies: I absolutely love the outdoors! I enjoy rock-climbing, cycling, open water swimming, Hobie cat sailing, and hiking with my puppy. When I can’t be outside I am enjoying life with my husband, playing the fiddle, sean-nós dancing, and painting.
What do you like most about being a PT?
I enjoy helping people and building lasting relationships with my patients. I want to restore function and independence in people’s life by optimizing movement and decreasing pain. I enjoy lifelong learning and look forward to specializing as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. A great part of physical therapy is the fun and passion in the profession. It is a blast getting to know my patients and working alongside dedicated clinicians focused on helping people.
