Nicole grew up in Aiken, SC where she initially developed an interest in physical therapy in high school after suffering an ACL injury playing soccer in 2008 and receiving care at South Aiken Physical Therapy. She had a very positive experience that helped her return to the sport she loved, which drove her decision to pursue physical therapy as a career. She received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Duke University in 2016. She went on to work at a manual-based outpatient orthopedic clinic in Charleston, SC for 5 1/2 years where she honed her skills as a manual therapist. She enjoys seeing a wide range of orthopedic injuries and offering one-on-one, hands-on therapy.
