"Super nice people. Don't over work me but can feel my self healing. They know what they are doing and very proficient. I enjoy talking to them and even the other patients. The atmosphere reminds me of a nice salon or barber shop ( in a good way ). I have tennis elbow in both arms and I'm so glad it looks like I will avoid surgery and 12 weeks off work TWICE. Very great full for Nicole and Rebekka. The people at desk are very good also. All the employees are on it. Never seen a business that tends to people so quick and so well."

"I had PT for a total knee replacement at SAPT. Everyone there is so welcoming. My therapists Lisa and Asia encouraged me every step of my recovery. They were wonderful! "I've undergone physical therapy at South Aiken 5 or 6 different times over the past 16 years and highly recommend them. The owner, Darcy, is absolutely fantastic - highly knowledgeable, kind and very caring and concerned about patients' well-being. All of the therapists and physical therapy assistants I've worked with have been great. The rest of the staff is wonderful too!"

"Had my initial vist last week. The staff at greeting was very pleasant and informative. I had my initial assement done Ms. Darcy She listened to my story and what I was experiencing. She then had me go through some activities and made her assement a immediately had a plan of action for me to follow . I was very impressed with the complete experience. I have been very fortunate my whole to be healthy. This was a totally new experience for me. I highly recommend if you need PT this is a great place."

With their help, I probably avoided surgery and I recommended my mother and father to them. "Wonderful place to recover. Didn't want to be there but, Glad I was. I was recovering from a broken ankle. Ugh!. Found this place through Augusta University hospital. So glad I did. the "girls/therapist" are personable and easy to deal with. Knowledgeable in their work. They worked with you, not against you. They respected my limitations. I actually enjoyed going there. Lindsey and Nichole were my therapists. So happy to have had an opportunity to meet them. IF you have to be somewhere for a recovery. This is the place to be. "I limped in after major back surgery not knowing what to expect. Katie and Lindsay, my physical therapists, supervised my recovery. It was a hard recovery but with their guidance I'm back to about 90% of what will most likely be the best I'll ever get. The big part was getting me to where I could once again care for myself. It was a hard road, but I also had the responsibility to do these exercises on my own, not just there at PT. The staff was so helpful in scheduling and working around schedules. Accommodation, Professional and Knowledgeable, Efficienct. That's SAPT. Five star rating all the way."

"In the eight weeks I was in Physical Therapy at SAPT I always felt welcomed and respected by all staff members. I had knee replacement to rehab from and each PT that I saw was very professional, extremely observant and made a difficult and painful time a success story. I also have fibromyalgia and they were very considerate of my "bad" days yet managed to move me through the exercises I needed to do. It is a very encouraging environment and exceptionally well maintained in regards to cleanliness."

"From the time you walk through that front door into South Aiken physical therapy you feel like family. The front desk receptionist ladies are always cheerful and happy as well as accommodating. The therapists are very patient and very intent on your well-being by focusing only on you as their patient. This are very busy but they are never flustered or rushed. "After 3 appointments at South Aiken Physical Therapy, I am astonished by the results of the treatments for my severe lower back sciatica that has also targeted other areas below my waist excruciatingly. I can now walk without bending over and using a cane/cart for support. The staff is professional, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Special kudos to my PT Nate, who is pleasant, humorous and totally customer focused, ensuring that the outlined goals are accomplished and that homework assignments are clearly understood. To me, his lower back massages, and his overall program, have been exceedingly effective and instrumental in, literally, helping me to “get back on my feet.” My Neurologist was also astounded by my report and has determined to rescind outpatient surgery until further notice. Although I have not yet interacted with the other PT’s, I wholeheartedly recommend Nate to all who might want enroll at South Aiken Physical Therapy for relative treatment under his auspices."

"l received a referral to South Aiken Physical Therapy because l was having some issues with my neck. I went there last week.. The atmosphere was so inviting. Everyone was so courteous. My appointment was at 9, and l was called at 9. l was told prior to my visit that my first appointment would be an hour, and l was out within an hour. l was really impressed with my Physical therapist Mary. She was so thorough and made me feel as if l was her only client. She was both competent and compassionate. She took the time to explain everything to me in a way l could understand. She made me feel hopeful about my recovery. l give South Aiken Physical Therapy 5 stars. Although l have never been to any other physical therapy facility, l still say they are the best. No other place could possibly come close."

"I started therapy in March of 2022 and after 3 sessions, I noticed my pain level had decreased and I was able to do simple tasks again. After 6 sessions my pain decreased for hours during the day, and I was able to do more tasks for longer periods. I am amazed about the results since nothing previously was alleviating the pain, but South Aiken PT has made me a believer. I have and am receiving excellent care in a friendly environment. "Although I am at the beginning of my Physical Therapy at South Aiken PT, I could tell after only one visit, greeting, evaluation and the basics that this Program was going to be designed especially for my personal needs and it lifted my spirits and I had hope. This may seem dramatic, and I will assure you that for me, it was! There is excellent communication with the head of the team for me, Courtney, the other people she knows I need to see and her work with me has, including our communication, been exemplary. I am so ready to work hard and it is hard work but I intend to look at it as "fun" because they have the ability to help me take that tact. The entire place, all the equipment, the floors, whatever you see or touch is clean and following excellent protocol. It is a clean, well-lit place-if I may borrow from an author I admire. I would -actually already have- recommend South Aiken Physical Therapy to anyone who thinks they have a need. If your Dr. says you need PT, please, do yourself a huge favor and ask to be sent to this facility. You will not regret it. Terry Spencer"

"I want to thank Darcy and the entire staff at South Aiken Physical Therapy & Wellness for their outstanding service and knowledge in helping me through physical therapy over the past three months recovering from Torn Rotator Cuff Surgery. Everyone including the receptionists, office and support staff, and therapists were instrumental in my recovery. My therapists Asia, Katie, Shelly, and Mary were professional, knowledgeable, informative, and caring. I feel that the protocol (series of exercises assigned to me) that were developed and used by South Aiken Physical Therapy & Wellness enabled me to recover and achieve my goal of getting back to my quality of life prior to my surgery. I feel that efforts taken by everyone to wear masks and sanitize all tables and equipment were outstanding and made for a totally safe environment. "This is real physical therapy. I have been to several physical therapy places, here and in other states. This is by far the best I have seen. Not only is the staff very knowledgeable and professional, but they actually spend time with you. Alot of time with you. They go beyond what is expected to try to resolve your problem. They have helped me alot and words can not express how happy I am with them. They actually care about you as a person. Everyone there is so nice. "After total knee replacement surgery in Feb. I was scheduled for several weeks PT at South Aiken. I was weak and sore, and apprehensive about PT at first, but after my first session I knew I was in the right place. Lindsey Lyles and Mary Mattis put me on a great program, and kept me motivated, even to do the exercises at home! Lindsey pushed me to build up strength in my knee and leg, and now I am on a great rehab path. I "graduated" today, and have no more knee pain and much easier mobility. Thanks to them and all the staff at South Aiken PT. Y'all are the best!!"

"South Aiken Physical Therapy conducted a detailed review and evaluation before beginning rehab, after surgery. Therapists listen to you and monitor your reactions the the exercises. They push you, but not so beyond your comfort level that you resist or fight them. They seem to be genuinely interested in you as an individual. I saw times when patients behaved poorly to the therapists. The therapists I saw reacted very professionally and took nothing personally. In particular, I found Lindsey and Nate above the norm in all areas. They worked with me as a team to rehab my knee replacement to the point that I was beyond the expectations of my surgeon and able to regain confidence in my new knee more quickly than I expected. You can’t do better than South Aiken Physical Therapy."

My physical therapists, Katie and Jimmy, were attentive to my concerns, answering many of the questions I had. "I have been going to South Aiken Physical Therapy and Wellness to work with a personal trainer twice a week for the last 18 months. I first went there for physical therapy several years ago and discovered the fitness center was a very nicely outfitted gym. The weight lifting machines are pneumatic with buttons on the handles that allow you to increase or decrease the resistance immediately without interrupting the exercise. I have found them very effective for increasing strength and muscle mass. Their trainers are knowledgeable and develop an exercise program customized to your needs. I’ve been to numerous gyms for more than 50 years and have found their fitness center one of the best."

Darcy has built an amazing team and your care will be catered to your specific problem. You will be 1-on-1 with your therapist every visit for 40 - 60 minutes. If you did not know - this is extremely rare in the outpatient physical therapy world. I worked as a staff PT under Darcy for 2 years and was able to observe what true leadership looks like. "I just wanted to say how much I appreciate South Aiken Physical Therapy! After back surgery I was sent to a physical therapy facility in Augusta, Ga. where things did not go so well. I was very weak not only from being down 12 weeks after surgery but also from sciatic nerve pain and muscle spasms. At that facility I was instructed to do exercises my body was not yet ready for, which set me back in my recovery. My first appointment at South Aiken Physical Therapy was the first time I felt I had actually been diagnosed for my strength and weakness and a recovery plan set in place. I was even more impressed my second visit, as I had a different therapist(which I was told I would switch between the two) and I did not have to explain things all over again. She knew everything about me from the notes made by the first therapist. Lisa and Lindsey have been awesome! It’s always one on one, no instructions from across the room. I’ve received massages to loosen up tight areas, the other facility never laid hands on me. I am finally on the road to recovery. Thank you South Aiken Physical Therapy!"

"South Aiken Physical Therapy is great. I have had treatment for two rotator cuffs, my neck and one hip replacement. All four have been very successful. Currently, I am having treatment for a dislocated shoulder. In the three weeks of therapy, I have made great improvement thanks to Shelly, my therapist. Shelly explains the excersises, why you should do them this way and not that way, answers my questions and is very dedicated. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff is wonderful. "My surgeon sent me to Darcy and staff 1 year after my foot surgery (bunion repair) because I wasn't healing as he assumed I would be. In about 1 months time because of the in-house assessments and exercises as well as the homework exercises my foot was so much better that Darcy felt it would be appropriate for me to get some personal training from Charles in their facility (it had been a year since I'd been able to work out and I was anxious to get back into shape). I appreciate working with Charles because he and Darcy collaborate on what I am able to do without compromising my healing. I recommend SAPT highly for any and all folks who have had a foot surgery. The facility is state of the art and the entire staff is so very warm and friendly."

They got me through a hip replacement after I fell off a horse and broke it; I had to pay out of pocket for treatment because my deductible for PT was $10,000, but it was well worth it. They also got me through arthroscopic knee surgery, a torn rotator cuff, and now Darcy's overseeing my efforts to shore up with exercise the bad back I've recently been diagnosed with. You won't be sorry - although you could be if you go anywhere else."

I have been battling Achilles tendonitis for about 8 months. At the behest of my daughter in law who is a PTA in the Charleston area, I called South Aiken Physical Therapy and Wellness.
