Shelly has over 25 years of experience in physical therapy. Her experience includes outpatient orthopedics, acute injuries, long term care facilities, aquatic therapy, long-term/home health and wound care. She is an APTA credentialed clinical instructor for PTA interns. She has served in the past as a member for a PTA Advisory Board. Her clinical training internships were based in Ohio, Georgia, and South Carolina. She has experience in variety of areas of physical therapy including: acute care, aquatic therapy, home health care, long term care ,orthopaedic outpatient care, and wound care. She specializes and has an interest with post surgical and general orthopaedic conditions. Shelly has studied the works and attended lecture series of APTA recognized Physical Therapists like Kevin Wilk, Mark DeCarlo, Jennifer Bottomley, and Brian Hoke. She has experience in manual joint mobilization with both Kaltenborn and Maitland techniques. She attended lectures on wound care under world renown experts Joseph McCulloch and Luther Kloth. She has experience in Selective Functional Movement Assessment.

She graduated from Shawnee State University in 1992 receiving her associate’s degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Hobbies:
Shelly has two daughters. She enjoys practicing yoga and delving into the history of the American Revolution. She is big fan of the NHL team Columbus Blue Jackets and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

I enjoy helping our patients return to an independent lifestyle and achieve their personal goals with returning to work and their hobbies.
