Special credentials:
Karen spent 16 years as a stay at home mom before going to work at South Aiken Physical Therapy. Before that, she spent six years as a medical records manager at an outpatient physical therapy facility. While staying home with her kids, Karen owned and operated a home-based travel agency specializing in family vacations.
Education:
Karen graduated from Aiken High School and attended Clemson University. Karen also received a travel agent certification from AAA in Charlotte, NC.
Hobbies:
Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, Connor, 16, and Eva, 13. She loves to travel with her family, and one of her favorite places to visit is the beach. Karen loves everything Disney, and she and her family have been to Disney countless times. Karen loves to read and shop, as well as plan her next trip to Disney. One of Karen’s biggest joys is watching her son play golf for South Aiken High School and her daughter dance for Burns Dance Studio with the performing company. On Saturdays, Karen loves to cheer for her favorite football team, the Clemson Tigers.
What do you like most about working at South Aiken Physical Therapy?
I love working at SAPT because there is so much energy and the staff is always caring and compassionate. I love interacting with the patients daily and seeing how their quality of life has improved after physical therapy.
